Returning back to my lodge, a mother and her baby crossed my path,snapping off a few shots in silence at my distance, she knew I was present and I could see it in her body language. While creating this piece I remembered the afternoon. Elephants are known for their strong family bonds and deep sense of community. They have a charm that's hard to resist. The bond between a mother elephant and her calf is truly remarkable.
